On June 25, IOHSAD, in partnership with workers’ union Samahan ng Manggagawa – Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (SM-PSACC – NAFLU – KMU), successfully inaugurated Sandigan Obrero, a workers’ clinic. Currently under the supervision of Dr. Camille Joyce Cruzada, one of IOHSAD’s physician, the clinic offers general check-up, doctor consultation, OSH consultation, and OSH training. Leaders from the Optodev Workers’ Union (OWU – NAFLU – KMU), based in Laguna, had also made the effort to support the inauguration. 

Reviving one of the organization’s core services, which historically served many Filipino workers in various industries, IOHSAD recognizes the inauguration of Sandigan Obrero as an important milestone. The organization wholeheartedly sends its gratitude to our doctors, unions, and people’s organizations who made this meaningful endeavour come into fruition.
